Saturday found Kathy's Pink Goal at the KittyHawk Felines Dayton Cat Show!! So many beautiful cats and kittens! A real neat experience! We introduced our new t-shirt "Find the Purr-fect Cure", It was a definite hit! Of course, being cat lovers ourselves, we had a great time. Sales were good, better than we hoped, we should be able to send in a nice donation. The people were wonderful, we were set up next to the Dayton Humane Society, and we even gave them some ideas on fundraising - you just never know how you are going to touch someone. My special moments were the hug I received from the lady with the Kittyhawk Felines raffle, and meeting a fighter, who wanted to get a "Survivor" necklace, even though she said she wasn't a survivor yet. Her daughter said "yes you are!" And she said, "Well, in a week and a half" This is who we are working for - so everyone fighting can get to that survivor point! Or better yet, not even have to worry whether or not they will survive. And so, we keep working. 

Well, it's another year and time to get ready for the Michigan 2014 3-Day Walk! We just had our first fundraiser of the year. The Dayton Demonz Hockey team let us set up our booth at their Pink on the Rink night. It was fantastic! We were selling our goodies before we were even totally set up! As I tell people: If you're buying, I'm selling! We sold enough merchandise that evening to make a $250 donation to the 3-Day! I am now over $2500! This coming Saturday, Feb 15, we will be at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds for the Arts and Cats Show! We have a great new t-shirt that says "Find the Purr-Fect Cure". I can't wait to see the reaction. Hope to see you there!
